Overview

After having faced problems in previous campaigns that required a lot of human help and revisions, Danone and Toledo turned to ZRP to create a fully digital purchase incentive promotion. To do this, a chatbot was created that can be accessed through WhatsApp and that allows the analysis, validation and integrity assurance of the invoices registered using computer vision.

Our contributions

During the development of the application for the campaign, we worked on the creation of the Chatbot and its conversational flows. In addition, we implemented OCR technology for automatic note interpretation, created chat scripts, ensured the infrastructure and system maintenance during the promotion and collaborated with Danone's security team to ensure security requirements and anti-fraud strategies.

During the development phase we tried to understand what the ideal buyer's journey is and what the main cases of fraud are in this type of campaign. To do this, we conducted several interviews with managers and analyzed the problems of previous campaigns to identify trends and patterns. Based on this analysis, we were able to create a more personalized and intuitive journey for administrators, which takes their needs and preferences into account.

We thoroughly tested various scenarios to ensure that the application was protected against attacks and undue compensation. To do this, we enlisted the help of digital security experts, who helped us identify possible vulnerabilities and implement more robust security measures.

In addition, we carried out attack simulations and stress tests with the Danone team to check the application's ability to deal with adverse situations.

On the user journey side, we ensured that they had access to all the information they needed just a click away. To do this, we created a friendly and intuitive conversation flow that allows users to easily find the information they need. We used advanced chatbot and Whatsapp features, allowing iterations to be made quickly and efficiently.

For example, we used AWS Textract to automatically identify the invoice number when reading NFCs (consumer invoices), which allowed us to process them transparently for the user, just one send away.

During the campaign period, we maintained a high-quality server infrastructure, ensuring that the application was always available to its users and could handle a large number of simultaneous accesses without any problems. We took care of all the technical details of the infrastructure, refining security aspects with security experts from Danone and our team.

In addition, we provided all the support necessary to ensure the success of your application. Our team was always on hand to answer questions from system administrators and help them implement unforeseen cases. Automatically, our team provided detailed analysis of the behavior and profile of registrants, as well as constantly monitoring the application's performance.

In partnership with ZRP, Danone and Toledo have created an innovative campaign that seeks to strengthen the relationship with their buyers. The campaign offers a more transparent and personalized shopping experience, as well as exclusive incentives for customers who register their purchases. This helps the marketing team to manage the campaign more efficiently, leaving them more time to devote to social networks and understanding their customers better.

Through the interaction between buyer and Chatbot, the campaign enabled a complete understanding of the moment and the consumer's journey. It also provided immediate feedback on whether the product had been approved or rejected. This approach further boosts sales, allowing the company to adapt quickly to its customers' needs and preferences. It also strengthens the relationship between the company and its customers, creating a solid foundation for sustainable product and brand growth.
